AUSTIN, TEXAS July 21, 2022 — Keller Williams (KW), the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count, is expanding across South America. Amid strong international momentum, KW has awarded a new master franchise in Bolivia.
“Continuing our robust global growth, we are excited to announce KW Bolivia, our 10th master franchise in South America,” said William E. Soteroff, president of Keller Williams Worldwide (KWW), the international division of KW. “Across the world, we are where real estate entrepreneurs thrive.”

“With the addition of Bolivia, we can now claim a strong and growing presence in the top five largest countries in South America,” said Soteroff. “And, our collective footprint on the continent comprises more than 1,000 agents across 17 offices.”
Led by Regional Operating Principal Carlos Andres Cordova, the KW franchise in Bolivia is currently initializing operations. In Q3 ’22, KW Bolivia is expected to open its first market center.
“The Bolivian market is very competitive,” said Cordova. “We believe that KW Bolivia’s main advantage will be the model of interdependence with agents, which will keep competition at bay.”
With a background of business and engineering, Cordova has served since 2002 as a real estate developer in Bolivia. His portfolio includes a large-scale gated community with the second-largest crystalline lagoon in the world.
“KW offers a fresh, new way of conducting business through caring for the agent’s success and well-being, while making them part of the decision-making process; that is surely a win-win for all involved,” said Cordova.
KWW is currently exploring further expansion opportunities across Africa, Central and South America, Central and Eastern Europe, and throughout Asia.
“We are constantly looking for the right business leaders to share our culture around the world,” said Soteroff. “And, Carlos represents the high standard we have set.”
Core criteria for new licensees starts with having a qualified leadership team grounded in the Keller Williams culture; the company also strives for government, banking and judicial system stability and a higher maturity level for a real estate market.
